HIGH STRENGTH, THIXOTROPIC,
POLYESTER GROUT

DESCRIPTION

ANCHORGROUT is high strength, thixotropic, two part polyester resin grout. It attains ultra high strength and pull out strength. It sets rapidly and can also be used under water. It is used for grouting of steel bars, bolts into concrete, stones, machinery and brick work where speed of installation and early load bearing capacity is required. ANCHORGROUT is two part, pre-measured blend of polyester resins, with selected graded fillers, which, when mixed, offer a high strength, fast setting, fast curing grout of thixotropic consistency. ANCHORGROUT is designed for use where the gap between the hole and bar is 12mm or less.

SURFACE PREPARATION

-› Holes should be made using drill machine as per required dia and all

    dirt and dust particles

-› Should be cleaned with brush or by blowing compressed air.
-› Bars and bolts should be degreased and rust should be removed with

    help of sand paper.    

MIXING AND APPLICATION

-› ANCHORGROUT is supplied in two packs pre-weighed in correct

    proportion.
-› For mixing of ANCHORGROUT, first resin should be taken in separate

   container from pack and then filler is added slowly in resin

   simultaneously mixing with hand untill homogenous mix is obtained.
-› ANCHORGROUT sets within 20 min. of mixing, so mixing in small

   quantity is recommended.
-› After mixing of ANCHORGROUT, it is filled in hole with hand.
-› The quantity of ANCHORGROUT required for filling hole is calculated as 

    under.
-› Qty. of ANCHORGROUT = Volume of hole - Volume of bolt
    Volume of hole = Volume of bolt =
    Where d₁ = dia. Of hole
              L₁ = depth of hole
              d₂ = dia. Of bolt
              L₂ = depth of bolt.
-› Add 10% extra in quantity obtained by above equation to compensate

    the losses while application.
-› After filling ANCHORGROUT in holes, immediately insert bolt in hole with

    help of slight hammering upto required depth and allow it to set.
-› ANCHORGROUT sets within 20 min. of mixing, so mixing in small

    quantity is Recommended..
