DESCRIPTION
CEMSCREED HM (F) is ready to use,
single pack, general purpose cementitious repair
micro concrete. It can be used in highly
reinforced area in RCC structures and attains
rapid strength and import expansive
characteristic which doesn't give separation
cracks between old to new construction. The
procedure of usage is given below.

SURFACE
PREPARATION
-› All
damaged area having loose particles should be
chipped with chisel
and reinforcement
are opened.
-› Care
should be taken that the area which doesn't
require repair, should
not be affected due
to chiselling of damaged portion. After
chiselling of
damaged area loose
particles of concrete and dust should be cleaned
by
brush.
-› The
reinforcement should be cleaned and rust should
be removed off.
-› After
removing of rust, anticorrosive coating SAFECORE
R should be
applied on
reinforcement by brush.
-› After
drying of SAFECORE R, the concrete area which
has to be repaired
should be coated
with FAIRCRETE SB(L) which is polymer modifier
and
bonding agent for
cementitious mixes.
MIXING AND
APPLICATION
-› CEMSCREED
HM(F) is ready to use material and only precise
quantity of
water is to be
added in CEMSCREED HM(F).
-› The
ratio of mixing of water to CEMSCREED HM(F) is
0.18. So, for 25kg
pack of CEMSCREED
HM(F) 4.5 litre of water required in concrete
mixer
and add CEMSCREED
HM(F) powder in drum along with mixing. Allow
mixer to rotate for
2 min.
-› Add
balance 20% of water and again mix it for not
less than 3-5 min.
until homogenous mix
is obtained.
-› CEMSCREED
HM(F) is now ready to use.
-› The
mixed material should be placed immediately. If
placed by pump,
standard concrete
pumping should be followed.
-› Curing
should start within 2 hours and minimum curing
time should
same as that for
concrete (7 days) as a cementitious material.
-› In
cold conditions down to 15OC, the use
of warm water (up to 30OC)
is
advisable to
accelerate strength development.
