DESCRIPTION
FAIRFIX TG is hard wearing, water resistant
grout for filling joints of tiles. It is easily
applied by hand and because of its unique
composition, it does not shrink when dry.
FAIRFIX TG is composed of marble powder, a blend
of special cement, water repellent materials,
oxide colours and plasticisers. FAIRFIX TG does
not curl up during application and gives a wear
and weather resistant joint with no shrinkage
cracks. It is available in different colours.
The procedure of usage is mentioned below.
SURFACE TREATMENT
-› FAIRFIX
TG is available in single pack and the powder of
FAIRFIX TG is
mixed with water in
ratio of 3:1 i.e. for 25kg pack of FAIRFIX TG,
8.33litre of water
is required.
-› For
mixing them, take 80% of total water in separate
container and add
mix them with
electrically operated drill with paddle
attachment for 2
min. Add balance 20%
of total water in container and again mix them,
until homogenous mix
obtained. After mixing FAIRFIX TG,
allow it to stand
for 15 min, and stir it again before use. The
joint filling
work should start
after 24 hrs. of fixing of tiles.
-› Apply
FAIRFIX TG diagonally into the joints with
rubber edged spatula.
Remove excess grout
with a moist sponge before drying. After grout
has
dried and before it
has hardened, polish the tiles with clean, dry
cloth,
leaving the joints
flush with the tiles 24 hrs. After grouting,
moisten the
joints with a Wet
sponge.
COVERAGE
Appx. 30 running ft per kg with
2mm width.
