DESCRIPTION
SAFECORE EP(LS) is high build,
solvented epoxy coating for steel and concrete
structures to provide protection from weathering
and abrasion. It can be easily applied on dry or
damp surfaces. SAFECORE EP(LS) is cost effective
protective coating.

SURFACE TREATMENT
-› Before
applying SAFECORE EP(LS) on surface, it should
be cleaned with
FM-DEGREASER and with sand blasting. Where this
is not possible,
surface preparation with wire brushing should be done.
-› Normally,
primer is not required but after sand blasting,
if there is any
delay in erection, one coat of SAFECORE EP
PRIMER is advisable to
prevent further rusting.
METHOD OF USAGE
-› As
SAFECORE EP(LS) is supplied two pack,
pre-weighted and packed in
correct proportion, mixing of base and hardener is very simple.
-› Pour
the hardener into the resin base container and
mix them well using
a paddle attached to
electric drill for 2-3min. untill a uniform
colour is
obtained.
-› After
mixing of SAFECORE EP(LS), it may be applied by
brush or airless
spray to give a continuous
coating on prepared surface.
-› Two
coats of SAFECORE EP(LS) is recommended and
second coat should
be applied after first coat
is dry out, most preferably on next day.
COVERAGE
14-16sq.m per 5kg pack per two
coats.
