DESCRIPTION
WATERGUARD AF is prepacked two
components of 10 kg powder + 5 ltr. liquid,
specially designed polymer processed cement and
fillers. It ensures perfect water tightness and
can be applied on horizontal and vertical
surfaces. It has excellent flexibility and bonds
with the cement base substrates.

SURFACE PREPARATION
-› If
cracks are there on the surface open the cracks,
which is 2mm or
more than 2mm
wide in 'V' groove with help of chisel till the
crack ends.
-› Clean
the surface and remove all loose particles
inside the cracks and
wash it with
water.
-› Apply
a coat of FAIRCRETE SB(L) inside the cracks
FAIRCRETE SB(L) is
polymer modifier
and bonding agent for cementitious mixes.
-› Fill
entire crack with CRACKSEAL , which is
cementitious, waterproofing
repair mortar.
-› After
filling the cracks with CRACKSEAL, allow it to
set for 30min.
-› After
setting of CRACKSEAL, pond the area with water
for atleast 30 min.
-› Remove
excess water with broom and the surface is ready
to apply
WATERGUARD AF.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
-› After
surface preparation, mixing of WATERGUARD AF
should be done.
WATERGUARD AF comes in two parts, liquid and powder, packed in
correct proportion.
-› For
mixing of WATERGUARD AF, electric drill with
paddle attachment is
required.
-› Take
liquid in a container, add powder slowly till
the mix become
homogenous with uniform colour.
-› Total
mixing time should not be less than 3min.
-› Mixed
WATERGUARD AF will remain of brushing
consistency for 20min.
-› So
mixing in small quantity is Recommended.
-› After
mixing of WATERGUARD AF, it should be applied
with brush on
prepared surface of uniform 2-3
coats. On drying stage of
WATERGUARD AF, fine cracks if any,
due to absorption or heat or speedy
drying of layer shall be over
coated with WATEGUARD A before it finally
sets.
-› Generally
WATERGUARD AF doesn't require any water curing.
But if
temperature is higher than 350C,
then it is preferred to pond the
horizontal surface and cover
all inclined and vertical surfaces with wet
gunny bag for 24 hours.

5-7sq.m per pack (10kg. Powder + 5 lit. liquid )
