FAIRADD
SUPER-PLASTICISER, SHRINKAGE
COMPENSATING GROUT ADMIXTURE

BENEFITS

-› High fluidity.

-› Reduced water : cement ratio. Higher strength.

-› Iron free.

-› Chloride free.

-› Excellent adhesion.
-› Eliminates shrinkage.

-› Economical for non critical static load grouting.

PRODUCT
FAIRADD is plasticising, shrinkage compensating grout additive.

COMPOSITION
A single pack powdered admixture which, when added to cement (cement : sand), produces an easy flow, high strength, shrinkage compensating grout.

PURPOSE
Ideally suited for grouting and in-filling where a non-shrink, free-flowing product is required. FAIRADD imparts super-plasticising / high water reducing properties as well as positive expansion.

PACKING
200 gm in sealed plastic container/pouch.

EXPANSION
Single expansion during setting leads to superior bonding to surrounding materials.

DOSAGE
200 gm of FAIRADD, when added to 50 kgs.oof cement, will require approx. 20 ltrs of water, the yield of grout being about 25 ltrs. With a 1:1 sand / cement mix the same quantity of FAIRADD with the required per 50 kg.oof cement, and the addition of a similar quantity of water results to yield approx. 55-58 ltrs.
N.B. : For leaner grout mixes, where the aggregate/cement ratio exceeds 1:1, then 2 X 200 gm of FAIRADD should be used per 50 kg of cement.

USE OF FAIRADD
The substrate should be sound, clean and free from contamination. Concrete surface should be carefully pre-wetted and all surplus water to be removed prior to grout application. The FAIRADD should be added to the pre-mixed sand/cement (or cement only) and the mixed material gradually of mixing. Grouts made with FAIRADD may be applied at temperatures between 50C and 40
0C. The pouring side should be raised by means of a hopper or grout box to maintain a minimum 150mm head of grout at all times. Clean all equipments immediately after use with clean water.

TYPICAL VALUES BASED ON 70.6 mm CUBES TESTED UNDER
RESTRAINED CONDITION.
(1:1, CEMENT / SAND MORTAR); CEMENT L&T 53 GRADE OPC;
SAND : ZONE II

CURING
Protect any exposed grouts from severe weather conditions during the early stages for cure by the use of hessian, Polythene sheet water application or by FAIRCURE C curing aid.

SHELF LIFE
Shelf life is 24 months if stored in manufacturer’s undamaged packing and away from sunlight and moisture.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Fairmate manufactures entire range of construction chemicals under compliance of ISO 9001-2000, ISO (EMS) 14001 & OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety) certified by KPMG Peat Marwick.
