PRODUCT
Prepacked Cementitious tile
adhesive which ensures excellent bond on
concrete, plastered and even on ceramic and
mosaic tile surfaces. FAIRFIX TA STD ensures
perfect watertightness.

PACKING &
COVERAGE
25 kg HDPE bag. 25 kg of FAIRFIX
TA STD will cover 5 to 8 m2
with recommended thickness 3 to 4 mm.
DESCRIPTION
FAIRFIX TA STD is a adhesive for
the permanent fixing of ceramic tiles both in
damp and submerged conditions.
FAIRFIX TA STD can also be used for fixing tile
on tile.
SURFACE
PREPARATION
All surfaces must be sound and
thoroughly cleaned before FAIRFIX TA STD is
applied. All traces of greases or oil must be
removed with FM Degreaser. All loose particles
of mortar and points must be physically removed.
SURFACE
FAIRFIX TA STD can be applied
directly on concrete, cement screeds, cement,
lime mortars and existing tiles.
MIXING
FAIRFIX TA STD should be mixed
with water in the ratio of 3:1 by volume. Water
can be reduced or increased slightly to increase
required consistency. A slow speed drill fitted
with a suitable mixing paddle is recommended.
Hand mixing may be allowed if drill/paddle is
not available.
FINISHING
Remove excess adhesive with a
damp both before material has set. Joint
grouting may be commenced 24 hours after tiles
have been laid.
STORAGE
Original unopened sacks can be
stored for 24 months.
HEALTH & SAFETY
FAIRFIX TA STD is non-toxic.
However, splashes on the skin should be washed
well with water and in contact with eye occurs,
wash well with water and seek medical advise.
