PROPERTIES
FAIRFIX TG STD is composed of
pure crystalline, marble powder, a blend of
special cements, water-repellent materials, and
additiones.
FAIRFIX TG STD does not curl up during
application and gives a wear and weather
resistant joint with no shrinkage cracks.
AREA OF USE
FAIRFIX TG STD can be used on
material such as ceramic wall and floor tiles,
clinkers and mosaics, where joints do not exceed
2-4 mm width.
PREPARATION OF
SURFACE
Ensure all tile joints and edges
are clean and free of exceeds tile fixing
mortar.
MIXING
Thoroughly mix FAIRFIX TG STD in
the ratio of 1 ltr water to 3 kg. FAIRFIX TG STD
powder. Allow to stand for 15 minutes, Stir
again before use.
APPLICATION
Wait until FAIRFIX TA has set
(approx 24 hours) before grouting. Apply FAIRFIX
TG STD diagonally into the joints with a rubber
edged spatula. Remove excess grout with a moist
sponge before drying.
Do not apply grout to an area which is so large
that it cannot be completed within an hour.
Porous tiles should be moistened with water
before grouting.
After the grout has dried and before it has
hardened, polish the tiles with a clean, dry
cloth leaving the joints flush with the tiles,
24 hours after grouting, moisten the joins with
a wet sponge.
CONSUMPTION
1 Kg of FAIRFIX TG STD covers
approximately 30 running ft. with 2mm width of
joint.
PACKING &
STORAGE
FAIRFIX TG STD is supplied in 25 kg. and 5 kg
sacks, and 1 kg containers. FAIRFIX TG STD
should be stored in clean, cool, dry area
protected from direct light as supplied.
Original unopened sacks can be stored for 24
months.
