PRODUCT
FAIRFLO is a high range water reducing admixture for concrete conforming to BS 5075 part 3 and ASTM C-494 type 'F' & IS 9103, 1999.

COMPOSITION
FAIRFLO is non toxic brown liquid based on sulphonated nepthalene polymer.

PURPOSE
To produce high strength and flowing concrete without additional water. High water reduction properties leads to high early and 28 days strength. Ideal in precast concrete works.

DOSAGE & PACKING
300ml to 800ml/50 kg of cement. However, the optimum dosage is to be determined by site trials.
1, 5, 20, 50, 200 litre/ kg. carboys.

DESCRIPTION
FAIRFLO is supplied as brown liquid based on sulphonated Nepthalene condensates. The powerful dispersing action of the superplasticiser can be used in many ways to obtain dense, high strength durable concrete (M35, M40 and M45). The high water reduction properties can make FAIRFLO ideal application in precast concrete where high early strength is of paramount importance. FAIRFLO is chloride free.
INCREASED WORKABILITY : FAIRFLO when incorporated in concrete mixes increases the workability without additional water than the designed value ; thus leading to easy placement and finishing without the risk of segregation and bleeding. INCREASED STRENGTH : FAIRFLO can be used to reduce upto 30% water for a given workability leading to increased early and ultimate (28 days) strength. Such high early strength and early removal of forms lead to increased productivity of precast concrete and the production of high strength concrete without increasing cement content.

STORAGE LIFE
Minimum 24 months if stored below 50^OC in original sealed containers. If allowed to stand sound for a long time, container should be stirred well before use.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
Physical State : Brown liquid, Chloride content : Nil, Specific Gravity : 1.010 + 0.015. Air entrainment : Less than 1% additional air entrained. FAIRFLO can be used with all types of Portland cements and is chloride free. It has no significant effect on setting times at normal dosage levels. It can be used in mortar grouting of prestressed wires. The normal dosage is 300ml to 800ml per 50 kg of cement. However, higher dosages can be used with suitable changes in the mix especially sand to avoid segregation if no water reduction is made. Overdosing upto double the normal dosage levels may lead to retardation of setting times and may tend to segregate and produce ultra fluid concrete.

TYPICAL RESULTS WITH USE OF FAIRFLO IN M30 GRADE CONCRETE
1) 0.40 w/c ratio ; 2) 53 grade cement ; 3) Washed clean graded aggregate MSA 20mm ; 4) Sand zone II

HANDLING PRECAUTION
FAIRFLO is non toxic. However, splashes on the skin should be washed well with water and if contact with eye occurs, wash well with water and seek medical advise, vigorous stirring is required if containers containing admixture is allowed in stationary condition for more than week or so.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES
 COLOUR : Brown, CHLORIDE CONTENT : Nil as per IS 456.

COMPATIBILITY
FAIRCRETE LC may be used with all types of Portland cement and high Alumina cement. It can also be used in conjunction with other FAIRMATE Admixtures provided they are added separately to the concrete.

SHELF LIFE
Minimum 24 months if stored below 50^OC and in original containers stored under shed.

HEALTH & SAFETY
FAIRCRETE LC is non-toxic and ingestion is to be avoided. Any splashes on the skin must be washed with water. If contact with eyes occurs, wash well immediately with water and seek medical advice.
