PRODUCT
A two pack high strength non shrink polymer cementitious grout.
EXPANSIVENESS
Slight expansion
during setting leads to superior bonding to
surrounding materials.
PACKING
25 Kg.
powder and 5 ltr liquid.
INTRODUCTION
FAIRGROUT is a
pre-packed cementitious grout with both high
early and ultimate strengths. FAIRGROUT has
excellent flow properties and will not shrink
after placing. FAIRGROUT is free from corrosive
substances.
PROPERTIES
FAIRGROUT will stay pourable for approximately
20 minutes at 30OC, any material
unused after this time should be discarded.
FAIRGROUT is suitable for use in gap width of
between 10-50 mm. Please contact our Technical
Dept. for details.
Yield per pack (25 Kg + 5 ltr) : 13.8 ltrs; Max.
Particle size : 2 mm; Pourable life : 20 min.
max.; Free expansion (% by volume) : 0.8 to 1.5%
Typical Strength Development : 500 kg/cm2
at 28 days.
In order to achieve optimum quality exposed
FAIRGROUT and the outer surface of any
shuttering should be protected from weather
conditions for at least 12 hours. Sacks,
matting, plastic sheets etc. should be placed as
protection immediately after placing the grout.

WHERE TO USE
The
expansive properties of FAIRGROUT combined with
the high strength makes it ideal for grouting of
machine beds, tracks, crane rails and
transformers. The material is also suitable for
grouting of stanchion bases, struts, railings
guard rail assemblies, construction joints in
precast slabs. FAIRGROUT is not subject to loss
of properties due to heat at working
temperatures up to 250OC.
FAIRGROUT ensures excellent flexibility so ideal
for construction joints and similar
applications.
USE OF FAIRGROUT
The substrate should be sound, clean and free
from contamination and substrate should be
pre-wetted and all surplus water removed prior
to the application of FAIRGROUT. FAIRGROUT
should be mixed with the specified amount of
liquid polymer, preferably by mechanical means,
for a minimum of 3 to 5 minutes. Do not mix more
material that can not be used in 30 minutes.
FAIRGROUT can be applied normally at
temperatures between 5OC
to 35OC.
Adequate provision for air pressure relief
should be made when constructing formwork. The
pouring side should be raised by means of a
hopper or grout box to maintain 150 mm head of
grout at all times.
CLEANING
All equipments and tools should be rinsed with
water immediately after use and then dried.
SELF LIFE
FAIRGROUT has a minimum shelf life of 6 months
when stored in unopened container above 5OC.
Ensure protection from damp conditions, frost
and direct sunlight.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Safety guide for cementitious grout to be
followed.
