DESCRIPTION
ROADCRETE is a single part
cementitious road repair mortar composed of a
factory controlled blend of special Portland
cement, fine aggregates & specially additives.
It is a fast curing, high strength trowel
applied mortar designed for rapid mortar. Its
rapid set characteristics allow a fast return of
the road to traffic. The product is chloride
free and can be safely used in contact with
reinforcing steel.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES
Colour : Grey powder; working
life : 10 minutes ; setting time : 30 minutes
Setting time: Initial setting time = 30 mins +
10 mins at 300c
Final setting time = 90 mins + 10 mins at 300C
Compressive strength at W/P ratio = 0.16

APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION : All lose
particle should be removed by wire brush &
prewet the surface thoroughly and excess water
to be removed.
PRIMER : ROADCRETE PRIMER to be applied by
brush. Allow the ROADCRETE PRIMER coat to become
tacky, approximately 10 minutes @ 3oC. Apply
mortar before the priming coat has dried.
MIXING : Pour the measured gauging water into a
suitable mixing vessel and slowly add the powder
to the water. Whilst continuously mixing 25 kg
of ROADCRETE will require 4 ltrs. Water. Mix
using a mechanically stirrer e.g. Electric drill
with paddle attachment until the material is
uniform mixed.
APPLICATION : Apply the mixed patching mortar to
pre treated area. Trowel like regular concrete
until desire finish. The mortar can be special
curing is required in moderate ambient
conditions.
LAYING : Minimum thickness 50 mm.
CURING : No curing is required.
USAGE OF THE ROAD : Within two hours for the
traffic

PACKING &
COVERAGE
ROADCRETE is supplied 25 kg packs
A 25 kg pack yield 12.5 ltr of mortars
sufficient for 0.75m2@ 25 mm thick.
SHELF LIFE
9 Months if stored in a dry
enclosed area in un opened.
