PRODUCT
A single pack acrylic base waterproof coating which can be easily applied by brush or roller which ensures excellent waterproofing properties.

USES
For all structures which are required to be waterproofed and to be protected against the ingress of moisture. Basements, Lift Shafts, Swimming Pools, Sewage Tanks, Sunk slab, Balconies, Terrace State, marble, paving, brick, quarry tiles, terrazzo and exposed aggregate panels and paving etc.

DESCRIPTION
WATERGUARD S is a colourless acrylic based coating which can be applied by brush or roller. Two coats of WATERGUARD S will ensure 80-100 micron film thickness. WATERGUARD S should be applied without any dilution. The product starts curing immediately on exposure to air due to the built-in catalyst and the curing will complete within 24 hrs of application, WATERGUARD S gives a totally dry elastic film within 24 hrs.

PROPERTIES
WATERGUARD S when used as recommended two coats to form an impermeable coating by blocking the capillaries and pores. Appearance - Clear white Liquid. Viscosity @ 25^OC. Cps - 50 - 150. S.g. - 0.900 + 0.005

SURFACE PREPARATION
All leaks and water jets must be stopped using WATERPLUG plugging compound. Substrate must be sound, clean and free from loose particle or laitance or contamination and present cracks must be treated first depending on the type of crack. Before application of WATERGUARD S surface should be DRY.

MIXING
WATERGUARD S is a ready to use product. No solvents or other diluents should be use. Before application of WATERGUARD S shake well the container.

APPLICATION
On the prepared surface two to three uniform coats should be applied by brush or roller. Left over materials should be properly packed in the tin for future use.

CLEANING
All tools must be cleaned with SAFECORE TOOL CLEANER immediately after use.

PACKING & COVERAGE
1, 5, 10, 20 Ltr. Carbouy, 1 ltr of WATERGUARD S will cover 5-6 m²/per coat, (However coverage is depends on the porosity of surface).

SHELF LIFE
WATERGUARD S has a shelf life of 12 months when stored unopened in original sealed container under shade in dry conditions.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Gloves must be worn while handling epoxy resin based product, to prevent skin irritation.
